Webinar Description

Due to its highly documented success over time, dental implants have become widely accepted as the ideal treatment option to replace missing teeth. Quite often the reasons for success of implant therapy are attributed mainly due to the design and surface characteristic of the dental implant.  Commonly overlooked are the quantity and quality of the bone themselves.   Many clinical scenarios present a deficient alveolar ridge or poor-quality bone that precludes the ability to support a functional implant-supported restoration.

Guided bone regeneration (GBR) is often needed to allow for predictable implant therapy.  Understanding the importance of biomaterial selection and surgical techniques are of paramount importance in achieving predictable regeneration.
