Fien, DDS Dr. Matthew J. Fien graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2006. He received his specialty training in periodontics from Nova Southeastern University and his diplomate status from the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in 2009. Read more >> Dr. Fien has completed a number of research projects which have led to his work being published in various peer reviewed dental journals, including the Journal of Periodontology, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He is actively engaged in several clinical research studies in the fields of Periodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Tissue Regeneration.   In addition to research projects, he has begun speaking as an expert extensively on guided bone regeneration and soft tissue grafting.  Dr. Fien enjoys being a part of the dental community on Instagram.  He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.  Born and raised in North Miami Beach, when Dr. Fien isn’t busy helping his patients, he’s out on the tennis and basketball courts with his wife and two sons.
